Thanks to everyone who has asked about Teddy and kept him in their thoughts.
A disc in his neck ruptured and he could not walk. It was a very hard decision for an immediate MRI and surgery or take him home for 2 weeks of crate confinement. He can only leave the crate 3x/day to be walked. He has a 50% chance of recovery from the crate - if that does not work then we are looking at surgery.
He spent the first 24 hours sleeping and resting. But starting yesterday he is having no problem telling us he is done with the crate by barking and howling. He is kept in a separate bedroom so there are no distractions. 10 more days Teddy - it will pass.
